WTA Sponsorship Revenue Has Risen 60% in Past Year

Stacey Allaster, chairman and chief executive officer of the WTA Tour, in an interview with Bloomberg, says the WTA's sponsorship revenue has jumped 60% in the past year. Since Allaster took over less than two years ago, the WTA has closed $75 million in sponsorship contracts, Allaster revealed in the interview.


"Sony Ericsson gave us a great foundation to really springboard and attract new partners to the sport," Allaster says.
