GM sponsors Girls Who Code DETROIT — The gender gap in technology and engineering is getting worse despite the increase demand for STEM-related jobs. GM and the national nonprofit Girls Who Code (GWC) today announced a partnership to inspire and empower thousands of U.S. middle and high school girls to become future leaders in these fields.
GM partners with Lyft GM gets a seat on Lyft’s board and access to the three-year-old company’s software, which matches riders with drivers and automates payments. It also becomes a preferred vehicle provider, with the chance to get many more people behind the wheel of a Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac.
GM sponsors Tampa Bay Lightning The Tampa Bay Lightning today announced new partnerships and key renewals for the 2015-16 season. The Lightning welcomed 23 new partners into their growing list this summer while 21 organizations renewed their sponsorships. Overall, Tampa Bay has seen a 40 percent increase in partnership revenue since 2013.
