The men's and women's ice hockey teams compete in Hockey East. The women's crew team competes in the Eastern Association of Women's Rowing Colleges . Skiing, fencing, and sailing are also non-ACC. Boston College is one of only 13 universities in the country offering NCAA Division I football , Division I men's and women's basketball, and Division I hockey.
