The name "FedEx" is a syllabic abbreviation of the name of the company's original air division, Federal Express, which was used from 1973 until 2000.
The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is an event commemorating the Oklahoma City bombing. Started in 2011, the annual event has grown to over 10,000 participants and has been called one of the "12 Must Run Marathons" by Runner's World Magazine.
