First Montana Bank opened for business May 15, 1913 in Libby, Montana as First State Bank of Libby. In 1963 it converted to a National Charter and became First National Bank of Montana. On January 1, 2010, it converted to a State Charter as First Montana Bank. Today, First Montana Bank, Inc., provides a full range of consumer and commercial banking and lending services in our nine First Montana Bank branches.
The Montana Folk Festival will continue to feature multiple stages with continuous live performances by some of the best traditional performers in the nation, including Montana's finest, some of the region's best traditional artists, ethnic and festival foods, a lively Family Area, and Folklife demonstrations and workshops that focus on a new theme each year that highlights Montana's heritage.
