BIRMINGHAM is set for its second Laurent-Perrier Champagne establishment after bosses at Town Hall and Symphony Hall struck a three-year deal with the prestige brand.There will be a Champagne reception area at Symphony Hall to be launched as The Laurent-Perrier Gallery for the use of corporate and private guests.The deal, which will also mean Laurent-Perrier will be the exclusive champagne in the halls, comes weeks after the relaunched Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar at The Cube was unveiled.Steve Brandwood, sales director of Laurent-Perrier UK, said: "Town Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham are iconic destinations celebrating music and the arts, welcoming thousands of visitors each year as well as hosting a variety of high profile events."The two city centre concert halls attract more than 500,000 people annually.Further to that almost 12,000 young people and 6,000 adults participate in the organisation's education and community programme.Anita Bhalla OBE, chair of Performances Birmingham, the music charity which manages Town Hall and Symphony Hall, said: "We are very much looking forward to welcoming Laurent-Perrier to Town Hall and Symphony Hall, strengthening our corporate offer over the next three years and adding to our attractive range of sponsorship packages."
