LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. today announced its sponsorship of Team Giant-Alpecin as the official equipment supplier for its men’s and women’s cycling teams. The support includes outfitting each team’s race bicycles with the advanced dual-leg power meter crank sets and SGX-CA500 Cycle-Computer, broadening Pioneer’s presence at the UCI WorldTour. Team Giant-Alpecin is the third Pioneer sponsored team, adding to a roster that includes the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team and Team Lotto.NL-Jumbo, formerly known as the Belkin Pro Cycling Team. Team Giant-Alpecin will use the Pioneer gear in its first race of the 2015 season on January 17th at the Tour Down Under race in Australia.
