Tokyo 2020 is a bid for the 2020 Summer Olympics by the city of Tokyo and the Japanese Olympic Committee. The winning bid will be announced on September 7, 2013 at the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires. Tokyo previously hosted the 1964 Summer Olympics.
As an official partner, Rakuten will support the Tokyo 2020 Bid Committee’s activities until September 7, 2013, the election day for deciding the host city of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We expect that the realization of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games will empower the world.
