The Dubai Cup 2019 Final was an afternoon packed full with polo action matched with activities and great prizes for the spectators to enjoy at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club. The Subsidiary Final was a round robin match between Hesketh, Kingpins and Dubai Wolves and Kingpins walked away victors as it triumphed over the two teams and scored 4 - 3 against Dubai Wolves and 4 - 3 over Hesketh.The Final match had Abu Dhabi take on the initial lead which Habtoor Polo took over fast and strong by the second and closed the penultimate chukker with a five-goal advantage. Both teams continued intensely, and Abu Dhabi tried scored additional goals in an attempt to close in on Habtoor. The Dubai Wolves earned their first three goals from Ahmed Al Habtoor and Justo Cuitino, while Shansal/PBS delivered consistent goals from each player and settled the penultimate chukker with a one and a half goal lead. Goals that came in from both teams and concluded the first chukker at 3.5 - 3 in favour of Shansal/PBS. AM Polo took the lead by the end of the second chukker with a goal from Sheikha Alya Al Maktoum, patron of the team. Past halftime, AM Polo widened the goal advantage with two goals from Guillermo Cuitino. The Wolves came in strong with the lead on the first chukker which Zedan matched with goals on the second that led to a tie at 3 - 3. Zedan charged further and stretched this gap with subsequent goals from Santiago Laborde and Raul Laplacette. Manuel Crespo and Yousef Bin Desmal from Dubai Wolves evened out the advantage by the end of the fourth chukker. The last one had seen the teams in a tight game, each striving to take home the win.
