Hosted by TV presenter and Glamour Fashion Editor-At-Large Louise Roe, "Fashion Star" gives 12 virtually unknown designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their own clothing lines. Every week the designers will have the opportunity, with the help of notable mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, to present and then sell their work to the buyers from three of America's largest retail stores - Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express. In the end, only one designer will be chosen as the next "Fashion Star," receiving the opportunity to sell an exclusive capsule line in each of the three prestigious retailers. The second season of Fashion Star will premier on NBC in early 2013.
