The club was founded in 2018 and plans to begin playing in the USL Championship in 2019.[1][2] 2012 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year and former Oklahoma City Energy FC head coach Jimmy Nielsen will be the head coach of the team.[3]
HARTFORD, Conn. (Feb. 27, 2019) -- Hartford Athletic announced today that Trinity Health Of New England will join as the Club’s Title Partner and the first of its Founding Partners. The multi-year agreement will see Trinity Health Of New England serve as the Official Healthcare Provider of Hartford Athletic and will feature Trinity Health Of New England on both Hartford Athletic’s home and away jerseys.
