Originally known as the Fédération Internationale de Basketball Amateur , in 1989 it dropped the word Amateur from its official name but retained the initialism, the "BA" now representing the first two letters of basketball.
MIES (Switzerland)/Shenzhen (China) - FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, announced that Unilumin has been appointed as the official long-term LED supplier for FIBA's top-level international competitions. The announcement was made on Tuesday during a signing ceremony in Shenzhen.
