Xtep, a Chinese sports fashion brand, has agreed a five-year sponsorship and supply deal with Spanish La Liga side Villarreal C.F.   As an official technical sponsor and exclusive provider of sportswear and accessories, Xtep will supply the team until 30th June 2016, in addition to paying a fee of €4.5 million (US$6.4 million) in five yearly installments.   Further terms of the agreement will see the Xtep logo appear in television broadcasts of Villarreal games and within venues for all matches played by the team in La Liga and the Copa del Rey. The company will also have a full-page advertisement in each of the club's monthly magazines, and launch a new Villarreal-themed product line.
