Looking for an experienced and highly-motivated marketing professional to assist in the execution of Fifth Third Bank’s sponsorship marketing efforts. This person will assist in maintaining strong relationships for the Bank with our marketing partners and execute programming at a world-class level so as to measure the value they bring to the Bank. Sponsorship marketing responsibilities will include assistance in campaign development, activation/event planning, execution, compliance/legal management, budget control and performance reporting, and interfacing with internal stakeholders to ensure each sponsorship property is fully leveraged. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sponsorship Portfolio Management • Assist in actively managing existing partnership commitments and marketing programming • Keep up to date with sponsorship marketing industry trends and consult with internal business partners to enhance the capabilities within Fifth Third Campaign Development, Activation Planning and Execution • Assist in marketing campaign development and execution that supports business goals • Engage internal business partners to coordinate execution as needed • Assist in communication planning and execution for all sponsorship marketing activities • Engage affiliate team members to enhance the overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns Budget Management • Manage budgets, billing and forecasting for sponsorship activities Cross-functional Relationship building and management • Work closely with external agencies to ensure proper resources and coverage of sponsorship activities, as well as external vendors for promotions, signage, associations, and event management


Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent in work experience. Preferred focus on sports business or sports administration. Minimum three year’s experience in marketing industry – sponsorship marketing function preferred with considerations given to sales and activation managers.
