Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Associate Sponsorship Specialist to coordinate and support corporate sponsorship events at the direction of the Sponsorship Manager.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Assists the sponsorship team by facilitating many aspects of corporate sponsorships
Handles confirmation and approval of benefits for the majority of corporate office and non-target market branch sponsorships
Provides support for large sponsorships/events
Identifies sponsorship opportunities and reviews proposals to maximize benefits with the goal of increasing Amica’s visibility and brand awareness
Work closely with the advertising and public relations staff to maximize visibility of sponsorships
Acts as a back-up for attendance and other administrative duties at the direction of the manager
An Associate’s degree (Preferably in Communications, Advertising, or Marketing)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with social media websites
Familiarity in the insurance industry preferred
Position entails non-traditional hours, travel, working on weekends and overtime when necessary
Position involves a high level of physical activity including booth set-up, lifting and prolonged hours manning a booth at events
