Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Associate Sponsorship Specialist to coordinate and support corporate sponsorship events at the direction of the Sponsorship Manager.


Job Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Assists the sponsorship team by facilitating many aspects of corporate sponsorships
  • Handles confirmation and approval of benefits for the majority of corporate office and non-target market branch sponsorships
  • Provides support for large sponsorships/events
  • Identifies sponsorship opportunities and reviews proposals to maximize benefits with the goal of increasing Amica’s visibility and brand awareness
  • Work closely with the advertising and public relations staff to maximize visibility of sponsorships
  • Acts as a back-up for attendance and other administrative duties at the direction of the manager


    Required Skills

  • An Associate’s degree (Preferably in Communications, Advertising, or Marketing)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with social media websites
  • Familiarity in the insurance industry preferred
  • Position entails non-traditional hours, travel, working on weekends and overtime when necessary
  • Position involves a high level of physical activity including booth set-up, lifting and prolonged hours manning a booth at events
