CBS Altitude Group, the energetic, creative, integrated marketing-sales team for all CBS's local assets/(radio, TV, digital, podcasting, live and out of home/malls)/, is seeking a seasoned pro with an entrepreneurial spirit towork in tandem**with our existing sales team.


This forward thinking individual needs to open up their established sponsorship ‘rolodex' to sell Fortune 1,000 clients on the benefits of activating our portfolio of live events that the CBS Radio division produces. CBS Radioproduces hundreds of electrifying music events both national (e.g./We Can Survive/ at the Hollywood Bowl and/The Night Before/- the Superbowl) and local in scope (/LA’s KROQ’s Weenie Roast, Chicago’s B96 Jingle Bash, Ed Sheeran Live on Ellis Island, Coldplay at the Ace Hotel in LA/). What’s more, we create live event opportunities across sports and news as well — from/Opening Day Fan Fests/to/Business Breakfasts/and/Working Women Luncheons/. Our goal is to find new and exciting opportunities of monetizing live experiences/events with major clients across the country.


Required Skills

  • 8-10 years plus of sponsorship marketing sales
  • Deep list of contacts with senior sponsorship marketing executives at blue chip companies and agencies
  • Ability to combine seemingly unrelated elements in new ways to create breakthrough opportunities
  • Be an energetic, bold, inspired, curious, passionate person
  • Think like a strategic marketer and link opportunities to ROI for clients
  • Demonstrate a track record of selling sponsorship deals for music and/or sports platforms to client
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit while working within a big company structure
  • Build bridges to different groups of people and create positive energy that is contagious
  • Experience in taking live event sponsorships and creating programming extensions on media platforms a plus(e.g. Sell /We Can Survive/to a cable channel or digital platform as programming)
