A Flipagram Music Partnerships Manager should be passionate about music and pop culture, be well connected in the music industry, and be in tune with current trends as well as new platforms to consume and market music. Our ideal candidate is personable with great communication and organizational skills, dedicated, creative while analytical, thinks strategically, and is passionate about the Flipagram community. This position is key to managing and supporting relationships across the music industry. It requires someone adept at balancing proactive planning with timely reactive execution. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, evaluate, and recommend new partnership opportunities Manage outreach to artists, management, labels, agencies, and all levels of the music industry Onboard new partners through account set up and verification Manage relationships and communication with existing partners Support partners with use of the platform, technical issues, and ongoing education on new features and development Facilitate weekly and bi-weekly calls with partner groups -- distributors and labels Monitor partner engagement and inspire more frequent content creation Create and secure unique campaigns for Flipagram to grow usership and engagement Coordinate promotions, features, and events with Music Programming Manager Gather metrics and present results to upper management and external partners. Manage data-driven measurement of team success, including tracking and reporting on progress of critical projects Represent the interests of the music team across different departments within Flipagram


Required Skills

REQUIREMENTS

  • Marketing and social media experience necessary
  • Previous partnerships management experience is also necessary
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience working in marketing, and social or digital media, at a music label, marketing company, music streaming service, or similar company.
  • Experience using or marketing to other key social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
  • Knowledgable of the music and entertainment industries
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
  • Solid networking and social skills
  • Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel is preferred
  • Keen awareness of pop culture and social media trends
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational and follow-through skills <:I>Passion for social media, online communities and digital content
  • Familiarity with digital content formats and productionImpeccable attention to detail
  • Thrive in the fast paced media and social environments; manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time


    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO POSSES:

  • Outstanding academic track record with a MBA, BA or BS in math, engineering, economics, business or other quantitative field.
  • Experience in direct response marketing, online marketing and digital media planning.
  • Experience managing, growing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns and partnerships.
  • Experience negotiating and executing digital media buys; strongly prefer mobile ad buying experience.
  • Experience conducting analysis on acquisition and ad buying to deliver ROI including A/B testing alternatives.
  • Strong understanding and experience with the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon App Store.
