Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Whitney seeks a Manager of Corporate Sponsorship, responsible for fundraising from all local and national corporations as they pertain to corporate sponsorships of the Museum’s exhibitions, programs, and events.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all activities related to the Museum’s current and prospective corporate sponsors including relationship building and maintenance; proposal origination; marketing collateral development; contract generation; sponsorship activation and benefit fulfillment; tracking; analysis; and reporting
Able to craft sponsorship proposals in a clear and compelling manner and must be creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
B.A. and 3+ years professional experience in corporate sponsorship fundraising, corporate sponsorships at for-profit organizations, sales/marketing, and/or development experience
Superior written and oral communication skills
Experience with public speaking desired
M.S. Office; knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
