This Events & Sponsorships Specialist supports the OhioHealth strategic imperative of growth by supporting sponsorship activities for the OhioHealth system. The position is accountable for coordinating logistics for events and sponsorships that align and fulfill OhioHealth's mission, vision, values and strategic priorities. The Events & Sponsorships Coordinator supports, coordinates and helps execute strategic sponsorship and events activities as assigned: contributes to plan development; conducts research; coordinates logistics, activation plans, etc.; and manages timelines, etc. Ability to manage activities as outlined in plans, effectively meet tight deadlines and goals. This position collaborates with the Marketing & Communications team division; participates as an active member of integrated teams throughout the organization and other matrixed teams within the department. Solid writing skills are essential. Good time management skills, extremely strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with teams, other departments and at all management levels to achieve results is critical to success. A strong professional presence, results-oriented self-starter and problem solver is required. This position requires an individual who is known for integrity, flexibility and energy.


Required Skills

Education, Credentials, Licenses: Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field Specialized Knowledge: Solid writing, proofreading and social media skills. Ability and willingness to work under pressure; meet strict timelines and budgets, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate thoughts clearly and simply is essential Superb oral communication and researching skills. Innovative in collaboration and problem-solving with other departments and at all management levels. Ability to manage multiple and rapidly changing priorities. Willing to work nights and weekends. Entry level, related internship experience preferred
