This Manager Experiential and Sponsorships will support the Senior Manager of Experiential and Sponsorships in the development and execution of this Marketing division. Experiential includes obstacle course racing, 5K music runs and other traditional cardio fitness events, fitness festivals, NCOs, other system-wide national programs, the CM Summit and unique regional grass-roots programs. Sponsorship programs include Zoom media national ad relationships, barter programs, other national endemic sponsors/advertisers and CM Summit sponsorships.


Experiential Marketing


1. Manage and coordinate our field efforts in the execution of:

  • 20 – 30 obstacle course races per year.
  • 20 – 30 5k music runs and other traditional cardio events.
  • 1- 5 fitness festivals.
  • New Club Openings (NCOs).
  • Other national events.
  • The CM summit.
  • Unique, grass-roots localized efforts.


    2. Work with the Campaign Management team and other specific managers to drive event/sponsorship engagement, program execution and schedules.

    3. Support and coordinate with the Sr. Manager of Channel and Sr. Director of Marketing the right channel communications to effectively target and optimize marketing program distribution and success, for specific programs.


    4. Create and complete tracking of program results through the channel management and BI teams.


    5. Work with accounting and finance in review of financial performances for audit and compliance guidelines.


    6. Develop and provide strategic recommendations for program modifications and growth based on reported results and trends.


    7 Manage budgets accordingly for each related event and record/track activities as required.


    Sponsorship Programs


    1. Manage and execute sponsorship and barter opportunities related to:

  • Zoom national ad campaigns.
  • Barter programs with endemic sponsors and advertisers.
  • The CM Summit.


    2. Develop and present proposals that highlight sponsorship opportunities and potential.


    3. Evaluate proposals and work with various departments to adjust and modify program requirements that are acceptable.


    4. Work with supervisor and the Sr. Director of Marketing and specific managers to develop and execute programs.


    5. Coordinate channel delivery media execution requirements with the Channel Management team.


    6. Create tracking to monitor results by campaign and modify program(s) as needed to achieve campaign objectives.


    7. Provide strategic recommendations for program modifications and growth based on results.


    8. Manage campaign budgets and trades accordingly for each program and record/rack activities as required.


    Required Skills

    Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • 4 year Bachelors’ degree.
  • Degrees in marketing, business administration, marketing sciences, data analytics, economics, operational research, or other relevant majors.


    Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience leading teams in sales, business development, event management and sponsorship programs.
  • 4+ years of strong project management experience and problem-solving.
  • 4+ years with skills in budget planning and financial forecasting related to marketing strategies and programs.
  • 4+ years interpreting consumer trends and research and implementing relevant and actionable marketing programs online and offline.
  • 4+ years of experience in managing cross-functional teams (internal and external).
  • 4+ years’ experience working with 3rd party vendors/agencies.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members across technical and non-technical disciplines.
