The Event Manager is responsible for working with the BEDGEAR strategy, marketing, and creative teams to help develop and execute day-to-day marketing activities and engagement for BEDGEAR in order to impact awareness amongst consumers of our brand and products.
Essential Functions:
Event Management and Coordination
Develop and manage an event and promotional strategy to ensure BEDGEAR has a presence and positive association in the community
Manages all BEDGEAR community events and sports sponsorships / activations, including logistics coordination, signage & display planning and volunteers / staffing
Manage all BEDGEAR sales events requiring marketing support such as annual Sleep Summit, Retailer on-site Training events, etc.
Marketing Coordination
Responsible for ongoing assessment of event calendar including event briefs and “wrap-up” report to identify successes and areas for improvement related to expenditures, resources, venue, etc.
Work with team to create content to be used on website, landing pages, blog, registration pages, etc.
As necessary, review advertisements and online media including magazines, newspaper, out of home advertising and various digital campaigns for overall brand consistency and accuracy
Ensure creative production deadlines are anticipated and being met in line with the marketing plan
Ensure that all collateral and branded materials are at healthy stock levels and replenish as needed
Must be 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
English Proficiency and exceptional intrapersonal skills
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel on occasion
Must have Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or relative field
Must have 5+ years experience in Event Coordination
