This position will act as a Director, Events & Experiential Marketing for Univision Communications (UCI) Local Media Los Angeles. The role is to focus on connecting brands with the Hispanic communities through events, field and mobile marketing services.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle experiential marketing events for our clients from the build-out phase to event execution and final reporting and manage current client relationships.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities at once, and maintain client and vendor relationships for our Local Media Los Angeles Television, Radio, Digital, and marketing platforms.
  • Development of plans, proposals, outreach strategies, event concepts and marketing materials.
  • Actively brainstorm new and innovative ideas for current or future clients.
  • Measure and understand current, past, and future campaigns, and conceptualize alternative ways to improve and present client campaigns in the future.
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, and meet deadlines without being micro managed.
  • Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution and compliance on client deliverables.
  • Review all deliverables to ensure internal quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Draft and present materials such as pitch decks, project and creative briefs.
  • Prepare timely executive summaries, event recaps, dashboard reporting and ROI/metrics analysis.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in the marketplace and client-related industries, as well as a clear understanding of the client core consumer to recommend strategies and tactics.


    Required Skills

  • BA in Business Administration or marketing preferred.
  • 6+ years of business experience, with progressive sales experience in the Media industry preferred.
  • Experience working at a marketing event or experiential agency a plus.
  • Event sponsorship experience a plus.
  • Critical thinker and independent leader.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Highly adaptive to changing client needs.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, energetic, persistent and resourceful.
  • Excellent communication skills.
