The Director of Influencer Marketing role is to develop and implement non-traditional integrated communications plans that embed Airtime in key cultural moments driving earned advocacy for Airtime. In this capacity, the Director will drive influencer marketing, branded entertainment and strategic partnership strategies to deliver against company objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communications and relationship management skills to deliver comprehensive programs across marketing, social media, public relations, events, sponsorship activation, branded entertainment to help drive brand fame, advocacy and cultural relevancy.

  • Strategize, accelerate and scale Airtime's efforts to make Airtime culturally relevant through media relations, influencer marketing, advocacy, branded entertainment and non-traditional content development, partnerships, sponsorship/event activation and internal communications.
  • Establish and implement integrated campaigns that are aligned with brand strategy to drive reach, awareness, buzz and social conversation
  • Maintain and build relationships with editors, influencers, tastemakers and their partners through constant communication, social meetings, appointments, etc.
  • Amplify Airtime's platforms through influencer, entertainment and partnership strategies to deliver cultural currency and incremental download / engagement volume
  • Bring forth innovative creative ideas that are measurable relevant, provide positive brand exposure and are financially feasible to execute for Airtime
  • Effectively manage external agencies and additional third parties for best in class program ideation, implementation and delivery of results within budget and scope of work


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience with the following; media relations, integrated communications, influencer, entertainment marketing, strategic partnerships, sponsorship/event activation experience
  • 2+ years experience in a fast past-paced support team for a mobile application
  • You provide insight and awareness of emerging trends and technologies, identifying ones worth pursuing
  • You thrive in ambiguity - you own what's thrown at you and create where you can
  • You are self-motivated, a strong team leader, posses a strong work ethic, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
