Field Marketing Director will manage a team to ensure the flawless execution of brand marketing initiatives at the field level with a community connection. This role is responsible for strategic planning, development, implementation and coordination of new and existing marketing initiatives that support strategic business objectives. Responsibilities include meeting expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acting with customers in mind, and consulting with other areas of management or concepts, operations departments and agencies to leverage resources with the BBI business in mind.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Management of Field Marketing team resources including the field marketing agency.
  • Supervision of Field Marketing Managers in their role, ensuring the success of national initiatives.
  • Ensures all marketing information is communicated to the field team for national, regional, and local marketing activity.
  • Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Local Marketing in the region.
  • Lead cross functional teams for development and execution of marketing plans for market-specific programs that drive customers, sales and profitability growth.
  • Plans, manages, and measures budget and programs, ensuring maximum cost control and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Manages the preparation of sales aids, controls local advertising and public relations projects, and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or services.
  • Partners with local market contacts and sponsorship partners to create innovative approaches in support of marketing initiatives that will impact traffic and sales.
  • Analyzes and makes recommendations based on market conditions, competitor data and customer research.
  • Travel for this field position is at 60% based on contact with team members, meetings, and market visits.


    Required Skills

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field, required.


    Experience/Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, field marketing, public relations, advertising, media relations or other external communications field.
  • Experience with an Agency or in a Matrix organization preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills both verbal and written.
  • Project Management through execution with budget planning/administration.
  • Experience with new media and internet advertising preferred.
