The Director of Brand & Partnership Marketing will lead brand marketing strategy for Quidsi sites, primarily focused on Diapers.com, Wag.com and Soap.com, and will lead offline marketing campaigns, as well as develop partnerships to acquire new customers and increase brand awareness in top metro areas. The Director will establish brand messaging and outline direction for creative assets by writing the creative brief, and working with the creative team and the retail organization. The ideal candidate will have experience executing partnerships with organizations targeted at wealthy urban mothers with babies or young children. (S)He will have experience with organizations in major metros that may be regionally focused. The candidate will understand how to make best use of limited resources, executing barter and paid advertising, sponsorship and media exchanges that provide great value, with limited dollars.
Uncover, engage and negotiate strategic partnerships with complementary businesses that will help extend Quidsi sites brand message and drive customer acquisition in our target markets.
Partner with internal stakeholders to define and execute mass & brand and partnership marketing campaigns across Quidsi sites to drive new customer acquisition and increase awareness of Quidsi brands
Collaborate with retail, onsite merchandising, and creative teams to develop brand messaging and assets
Analyze customer behavior to develop acquisition strategy and performance goals
Determine ROI of marketing efforts and prioritize based on results
Share performance results and best practices for M&B and Partnership marketing across the company
Negotiate with external stakeholders to drive Quidsi business objectives
5+ years of work experience in digital marketing and partnership development.
Experience analyzing customer data and insights to develop business objectives and marketing plans
Experience and knowledge of email marketing practices, display advertising and the basic value of assets in a media exchange (what works and what does not). An understanding of how to negotiate to get the highest performing, most targeted exchange.
Experience targeting wealthier, urban mothers in major metros with presence of babies and or young/children in household.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to influence diverse internal and external stakeholders
Able to work independently and prioritize personal projects, as well as partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to achieve desired business results
Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative, with a desire to use out-of-the-box thinking to reach expecting and new moms
Experience in the maternity, baby, fashion or pet categories.
