Gilt City is looking for a dynamic Senior Account Executive, National Entertainment Sales who can quickly identify key targets to set and deliver against ambitious expectations by establishing a luxury positioning and differentiated point of view in the marketplace. This person will tap into local and national live entertainment networks focusing on theater, concerts, sports, fine arts and film and will evangelize the mission of building a life more beautiful for Gilt members. This person will also be responsible for communicating partnership positioning to executive management and internal stake-holders.


The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of the ticketing and entertainment industries with an established network in various entertainment verticals. This person should have professional poise and presence when interfacing with the marketplace, have an inherent creative ability to identify unique coveted experiences, and a passion for winning.


Responsibilities

  • Interface and communicate effectively with the Gilt City teams and leadership
  • Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management
  • Evangelize and inspire the entertainment marketplace in multiple markets nationally to work with Gilt City
  • Secure ticket inventory, negotiate special rates and create unique experiential packages for Gilt members
  • Represent Gilt City at trade and tastemaker events


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience
  • 3+ years of ticketing/live entertainment experience
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
  • Network of contacts in professional theater, sports, concerts, fine arts and/or the film industries
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Independent and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passion for live entertainment, arts, culture and city life
