Contribute to the overall company performance by supporting brand marketing strategies and plans to deliver effective and innovative events, sponsorships and partnerships for all channels. Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs that generate increased brand awareness and interest with the Active Enthusiast, and purchase intent in a brand-building and profitable manner.


Core Accountabilities

  • Assist in developing and executing brand and traffic building regional and local plans, events and programs.
  • Assist with planning and execution of events including project management and creative asset development.
  • Support key partnerships and sponsorships, and related endeavors that complement the brand and are effective in reaching the Active Enthusiast while generating consumer excitement, strong traffic and conversion.
  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams within Merchandising, Retail Operations, Creative, Production and the Stores in order to create integrated and innovative campaigns that drive purchase intent and brand equity.
  • Create event recaps to be included in weekly, monthly and quarterly Marketing recaps to inform future business decisions.
  • Identify and record best practices and learnings for future partnership opportunities and events.
  • Manage event request portal, provide recommendation and communicate directly with stores.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for major events.
  • Understand and ambassador the Eddie Bauer brand position and Active Enthusiast mindset to inform program briefs and to evaluate sponsorship opportunities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people/functions at all levels
  • Ability to travel for tradeshows and events, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint


    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communications desired
  • 2 years of proven marketing experience with a focus in retail and/or outdoor industry brand
  • Media experience or understanding of media a plus
