Become a member of our successful Entertainment Marketing team based in Los Angeles, CA. The Entertainment Marketing Manager is responsible for growing the visibility of the PUMA brand within the entertainment and celebrity space through PR and celebrity placement, executing against the US entertainment-marketing programs, in accordance and aligned with the overall North American strategic marketing plan, in both sport and lifestyle.


The candidate should have a strong knowledge of all facets of marketing, previous experience within entertainment and marketing, with a focus on public relations. The candidate will utilize their network within the entertainment industry to enhance the brand and product visibility of PUMA with celebrities and maximize those visibility opportunities with PR and social media. This person will also be responsible for seeking, managing and maximizing celebrity talent and music artist partnerships and relationships on behalf of the brand. He/She will work cross functionally with the Public Relations team. Responsibilities:

  • Implement entertainment marketing programs for PUMA North America, as part of the overall US marketing strategy and major brand initiatives
  • Partner and work cross-functionally with the PUMA North America (PNA) Marketing Team to develop, support and execute against category and channel marketing campaigns, specifically public relations, social media, and category managers
  • Establish and manage cohesive relationships and close communication with critical departments to ensure synergies on all projects
  • Manage talent/brand asset relationships as they pertain to PUMA-related programs and initiatives, assist with managing talent needs and requirements according to marketing and activation plans
  • Identify, secure and build relevant entertainment partnerships and opportunities that drive and enhance the PUMA brand and its business
  • Responsible for conceptualizing and executing tactical entertainment programs for PUMA, and finding opportunities to increase brand visibility within the entertainment space
  • Assist with the management of partner agencies in relation to entertainment and PR.
  • Support the daily operations of the LA office
  • Budget management
  • Regular communication of entertainment placement results and wrap up reports to the PNA Marketing Team and other departments
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 3-4 years’ experience in entertainment marketing or related industry (footwear or apparel experience a plus!)
  • Proven success in building relationships partnership deals and managing high profile talent.
  • Strong, pre-existing relationships within the entertainment industry.
  • Strong communication, written and oral
  • Persuasion skills with a proven ability to convince others\ Comfortable working in a matrixed cross-functional organization
