The Senior Manager of Special Events and Brand Partnerships is responsible for collaborating with the Special Events Director to design and execute event programs, initiatives and unique brand partnerships for Gucci in North America.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Special Events Director to conceptualize and execute a strategic events program which reinforces the communications objectives of the brand and considers the business goals of the region
  • Develop and leverage brand partnerships through events and activities that elevate the image of the brand, drive qualified traffic and support client acquisition and retention
  • Work synergistically across all teams in the Marketing and
  • Communications department to develop activities which maximize resources and impact
  • Liaise with the Retail and Merchandising teams to understand specific objectives and priorities to support through retail event opportunities
  • Oversee local clienteling and donations programs to support local client cultivation and development
  • Manage annual budgets for all initiatives and activities
  • Liaise with the Central Office on event strategy, guidelines and reporting
  • Manage the Special Events Manager and Special Events Coordinator in daily responsibilities and event execution


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years working in an events or marketing-related position
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint: Outlook; Adobe Acrobat; Fashion GPS
  • Understanding, knowledge and interest in fashion, philanthropy, culture and art
  • Strength in management and negotiation skills
  • International and Domestic travel, when required
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Positive, polished and focused professional team player
