Responsibilities:


The National MArketing Manager for IMG College will be responsible for day-to-day support of the National Sales Team across all IMG properties, with a strong emphasis on IMG College assets.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Gain a thorough understanding of IMG business units and marketing assets in order to:

  • Identify appropriate partnership opportunities for prospective clients
  • Maximize partnership value and drive client objectives
  • Assist in identification of potential business targets


    - Interact daily with sales team in order to:

  • Provide appropriate sales tools
  • Understand insights and objectives gained from client meetings
  • Stay ahead of business needs and drive future business performance in key categories


    - Review and analyze a brand’s marketing efforts in order to:

  • Identify activation concepts that align with the brand, support partners’ marketing objectives and will drive business results
  • Analyze research findings that best demonstrate brand alignment and high index against designated target opportunities


    - Interface and build relationships with business partners across IMG properties/business units


    - Manage the creation of presentation materials to support sponsorship sales


    - Manage the development, creation and output of 30% of presentation materials for national sponsorship sales across all categories


    - Interact daily with college national sales team in order to provide appropriate sales tools and understand insights and objectives gained from client meetings


    - Communicate sales timeline and status of national sales team prospects to entire support team and coordinate efforts of all support stakeholders (research, activation, etc)


    - Manage the follow-up process and materials output for on-going national dialogue for partnerships with a target investment range between than $3MM – $8MM annually


    - Other duties as assigned


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience or specific disciplines such as sponsorship marketing, event marketing, media sales and media buying required
  • Experience in sports industry preferred Experience managing the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy on behalf of client or company preferred
  • Experience managing day-to-day relationships with client, agency(s) and vendors required
  • Experience with sponsorship contract negotiations, on-site event marketing operations and logistics preferred
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel
