XOJET is seeking a Director of Brand & Affinity Partnerships to join our Marketing team based in San Francisco. The Director will be responsible for managing and developing XOJET’s current strategic partnerships with groups such as Yellowstone Club, Vail & Beaver Creek Resorts, The Golden State Warriors, Pebble Beach Resorts, Etihad and Mandarin Oriental Hotels, amongst others. The position will also lead identifying and cultivating new partnerships in the key categories of: Travel & Leisure; Adventure & Discovery; Health & Wellness and Seamless Travel Services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing brand partnerships, public relations, event management, membership programs and leading brand activation initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Lead strategic brand initiatives that drive activation of XOJET’s brand campaign through new and existing partnership opportunities to build the XOJET brand and drive consideration and affinity. In coordination with Chief Business Officer, develop and implement strategy for XOJET partner network to build partnerships with leading brands within target verticals of Luxury Travel, Adventure, Wellness and Seamless Travel Services. Generate creative and valuable partnership strategies and help bring them to life. Prepare and implement annual business plans with each of XOJET’s partners to actively promote the relationship through joint initiatives. Manage day-to-day partner relationships and act as primary contact point, with regular meetings / follow-up.


Develop and refine benefits programs and conceptualize new opportunities to access partner platforms and services to support client engagement. Continuously identify activation opportunities to leverage partnerships to increase brand awareness, cross promote and generate new business. Research and identify new prospective partners within the XOJET target sectors, ensuring new partners reflect XOJET’s core values and culture. Evaluate the potential of various strategic partnership opportunities from both an internal capacity and external market lens.


Develop presentations, pitches and write proposals to secure new partnerships. Research, outreach, relationship cultivation and management, closing, and partner onboarding. Work with CBO, CFO and General Counsel to structure framework and secure mutually beneficial terms with new partners. Facilitate initial partner on-boarding training and follow-up to evangelize XOJET within the partner sales teams.


Facilitate internal sales training on partner benefits to socialize across XOJET client base. Work closely with Sales, Marketing and other business stakeholders on partner activation initiatives. Generate weekly / monthly reports on partnership strategy, status and key activation initiatives.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate enjoys cultivating and owning partner relationships and has at a minimum 5-7 years of experience in marketing, public relations and / or an event management or sponsorship environment.
  • Specific experience and qualifications are likely to include:
  • BA/BS in marketing, advertising, public relations and / or event management.
  • A highly organized, confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated results in growing and building successful multi-faceted partnership programs.
  • Experience in luxury goods, hospitality or similar client facing environments.
  • Prolific networker with ability to connect and interact with high net worth clients.
  • Prior experience in managing membership and club type programs and initiatives.
  • Proven track record in curating, managing and hosting events.
  • Ability to self-direct and prioritize among competing goals, exhibit flexibility, and drive results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with uncompromising attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel.
