DraftKings is the world’s leading daily fantasy sports brand. Our mission is to make sports better – and make better sports fans – by bringing them closer to the games they love. We are looking for an experienced marketer who can lead the development of integrated marketing plans for 1-2 key sports (TBD, but could be NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA, NASCAR, Soccer).


The Sports Marketing Director will be a member of the Brand & Creative team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Develop seasonal, sport-specific plans that grow DraftKings’ business & reinforce the brand as the leader in Daily Fantasy Sports
  • Drive alignment throughout the organization by:
  • Partnering with the Product team to understand what’s in the pipeline so our marketing plans highlight DraftKings’ product at its best
  • Partnering with the heads of acquisition, retention, social and content to ensure the strategy delivers on company goals & guides all consumer communications
  • Partnering with Analytics leaders to develop a measurement plan that establishes, tracks and optimizes channel-specific KPIs, as well as brand measures
  • Partnering with the Creative Director to ensure creative is on strategy, delivers results and lives up to the brand promise


    Required Skills


    The ideal candidate has the following key attributes: results orientation, collaborative spirit, creativity, resourcefulness, organization, confidence, initiative and enthusiasm. Specifically,

  • 5+ years experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing teams for major B-to-C brands
  • LOVES marketing and driven to make award-winning programs that deliver results
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern marketing (digital, CRM, experiential & social)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the work -- big and small – done
  • Team player, motivated to build internal confidence and alignment
  • Avid sports fan and fantasy sports enthusiast
  • Agency experience a plus but not required
