Reporting to the Director of Member Benefits and Sponsorships this position will be responsible for driving Member engagement by building incredible experiences for our Members and creating brand envy to attract and acquire non-members. This candidate will be responsible for working with our Sponsorship properties and other partners in the development and day to day execution of our National Events programs. The candidate has experience in event production, brand activation and will create meaningful experiences that engage Members and non-Members alike. This candidate will also integrate Member experiences into consumer campaign initiatives to achieve overall business plan and objectives, working with the marketing and brand team.
Lead brand activation, event management and event production requirements at events, including but not limited to product launches, PR events and music festivals
Engage customers and represent the Virgin brand at numerous events
Work with other Virgin partners in executing events that benefit our Members
Travel to events with Virgin Mobile presence, as needed
Work with brand team to facilitate content capture
Work with PR team to develop earned media from events
Build sweepstakes and manage prize fulfilment, including ticket giveaways, travel arrangements, event access and many other VIP experiences
Work with legal department to develop contracts with event partners and build appropriate rules and regulations for sweepstakes as well as release forms
Lead internal event requirements
Hire and manage staffing agencies as needed
Work with key agency partners, suppliers, production houses, and relevant business units, especially the brand team, to build meaningful offers and experiences for Members
Maximize ROI from Virgin Mobile event sponsorships
Drive acquisition through events and experiences
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
Three years supervisory or management experience
Seven years event planning or project management experience
Five years negotiation and relationship building experience
Preferred Qualifications
Event production and brand activation experience
Understanding of festival space
Familiar with digital promotional channels
Experience running sweepstakes
Hold a valid passport or prepared to apply for one, and is willing to travel internationally
Growth mindset and willingness to experiment beyond traditional brand activation programs
