As the Sponsorship Manager for SB Nation, reporting to the Senior Director of Sponsorships within the Marketing organization, you will be responsible for managing the editorial relationship with SB Nation, liaising between editorial and our creative development, yield, sales, and client success teams. You will be responsible for creating sponsorship opportunities across SB Nation’s 300+ team communities, including internal packaging materials and external pitch decks, in close collaboration with our brand and portfolio marketing teams. You will also project manage the post-sale execution of all sponsorships on SB Nation.


Ideal candidates for this position will be passionate about SB Nation and intensely interested in collaborating across editorial and ad sales to find creative and strategic ways to monetize the brand. This position is based in New York City.


What you’ll do:

  • Foster and deepen relationship with the editorial team
  • Lead the positioning and strategy for tent poles and priority editorial offerings
  • Facilitate editorial plans, ideas, and offerings
  • Work with our Revenue Operations team to create, package, and price opportunities
  • Create relevant sales marketing materials
  • Project manage post-sale execution of sponsorships


    Required Skills

    What you’ll bring:

  • BS or BA from a 4-year university or college
  • 3-5 years relevant digital media experience
  • Strong writing skills and ability to craft a cohesive and compelling narrative
  • Effective team member and collaborator

  • Organized with a strong attention to detail

  • Background in sports sponsorship and/or integrated media with a sports knowledge is a plus
