As the Strategic Partnership Associate, you will work to support development and execution of key partnerships programs with FanDuel’s most significant partners including regulated gaming, content/media and sports league and team partners. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business development, you will help identify help ensure flawless execution and professional approach to all key partnerships by being deeply integrated into the team across all levels.
What you’ll do
Market research to understand key business dynamics within a given industry segment and with special focus on potential target partners.
Interact with key internal stakeholders to understand opportunities and risks for potential deals
Support the creation of partner “pitch” materials.
Engage with partner post-deal to monitor performance against key deal metrics both for FanDuel and for partner – including the development and management of Quarterly Business Reviews with FanDuel’s most significant partners
Support the day-to-day management of FanDuel's Sports Partnerships portfolio, with a heavy focus on NFL & NBA partnerships
Clearly and effectively assist in internal, agency and partner communication
Facilitate strategic planning sessions for key partnerships to continuously drive exposure & value
Bachelor's Degree with a business focus preferred
1-2 years of experience in sports new media and preference for some team or league exposure
Knowledge of daily fantasy category and landscape including awareness of issues facing industry
Superior communication skills and strong attention to detail
Effective in project planning, tracking and reporting
Adaptive to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
