Responsibilities:
Drive integration of partnership marketing assets across the media mix
Develop, manage and execute promotional programs, sweepstakes and cross-functional opportunities
Lead the execution across our marketing partnerships by creating value-adding engagements that continue to elevate the brand, drive traffic and build customer relationships
Lead the project coordination for all aspects of marketing and promotions for new store openings
Work with advertising, graphic designers, public relations and website designers to help facilitate promotion of grand opening events
Partner with store operations for execution of new store events and programs
Manage the execution of licensed marketing plans and Hot Market opportunities by leveraging and maximizing partnership assets across marketing channels
Partner with agencies and partnerships to meet asset delivery timelines, an ensure flawless execution of programs
Mange new store budget development and planning
Provide partnership recaps and proof-of performance and metrics of success
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rules
Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
Work Experiences:
5+ years of partnership marketing experience
Sports, outdoors and lifestyle partnership experience preferred
Event activation experience with brands or agencies
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create thorough documentation and interface effectively with individuals at various levels
Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Capable of working effectively with minimal supervision
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to independently and effectively lead and administer meetings
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and operate with a sense of urgency
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field of study preferred
Physical Requirements & Attendance
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
Ability to lift up to thirty pounds unaided
Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
Regular attendance required
Up to 50% travel, as needed
Ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
