This is a highly strategic role where you will build and develop new capabilities for Wayfair, drive and execute on an aggressive testing plan to initiate rapid learnings. As the Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing, you will be expected to build an exciting and impactful experiential marketing strategy, define the key performance metrics, iterate to support our test-and-learn approach, and measure performance. You will work cross-functionally and partner with Creative, Brand, Partnerships, Media, Product, and Analytics teams. You should have a passion for creating impactful brand experiences to engage consumers to increase lead generation, brand advocacy, and sales.
Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to define, pilot, and rapidly iterate on the experiential marketing strategy, with an understanding and strategic view on all internal/external influences
Size up opportunity and scope executional plan for existing experiential opportunities
Partner closely with internal and external teams to drive best-in-class campaigns, managing the channel agenda and implementation
Partner across the organization to develop internal marketing measurement tools and develop new capabilities to support experiential marketing efforts
Track competitive movements and ensure Wayfair programs are best-in-class
Institute rigorous test-and-learn methodology to achieve desired results
Develop talent within the organization, mentoring/developing small team of analysts
5+ years professional experience – ideally in ecommerce, marketing, tech, or management consulting
Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
Thrilled by the prospect of running an “R&D Lab” for Marketing
Comfortable in a data-driven business environment and able to pivot readily
Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams
Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills including experience managing high performing teams
Positive, people-oriented and energetic attitude
