Overview


The Managers purpose is to manage and execute consumer engagement programs focused in the US that are tied to PUMAs performance portfolio (soccer, running/training and other sport categories. Their focus is to ensure programs are commercially relevant and aligned to North American goals, while maintaining global alignment. Current programs include PUMAs grassroots soccer tour, activation of soccer athletes and teams at both the local and global level, youth soccer tournament activations as well as maximization of PUMA grassroots events and partnerships.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the planning and implementation of PUMA teamsport, running/training and other sport category consumer engagement activations in the US market
  • Drive engagement and consumer conversation in the US within sport categories by utilizing sports marketing assets, properties and programs.
  • Execute these associated programs with the support from the rest of the consumer marketing team (PR, Social Media)
  • Collaborate with the PNA Account Marketing and Sales team whenever possible to drive account traffic, link programs to product launches when relevant and drive commerciality at all times
  • Manage external agency partners in the production and delivery of consumer activation plans within Football and Running and Training
  • Lead the maximization and activation of North American soccer athletes, both male and female
  • Manage the consumer engagements budget allocated to PUMA North America
  • Manage the grassroots programming that connects PUMA Elite Youth Soccer Clubs with premier global partners [ie. Arsenal, BVB, etc]
  • Teamsport programming specifically includes but is not limited to PUMA Truck Tours, PUMA Elite Programming and Activations around our global soccer athletes, ie Arsenal and BVB


    Required Skills

    Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in consumer marketing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and with desired end results is important
  • Budget Management skills and proven ability to set and track KPI’s International Marketing experience is preferred although not required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Domestic and international travel will be required
  • Extensive knowledge for football and consumer media landscape including digital & social media
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Passionate about sport and sport culture
  • Must be able to commute to PUMAs Boston office 3 days a week and PUMAs Westford office 2 days a week Travel required: 20-30%, primarily domestic
