Position Description


VIVE is the leader in high-end virtual reality, introducing global audiences to the near limitless potential of the technology. The Marketing Specialist leading events will work closely with our hardware partners (PC and Components) to coordinate VIVE’s presence at experiential marketing events through the execution, measurement, and optimization, of each activation.


Responsibilities


  • Work through our partners to integrate VIVE into their event presence; handling budget and product allocation, metrics capture, and promotional efforts
  • Build a marketing program around each event partnership; working with the internal and partner teams to make the most of our presence; social, community, CRM, influencers, press events, PR outreach, and marketing. Program manage all deliverables across partner and internal teams.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of VIVE product plans/priorities across consumer and commercial, including upcoming VR content in order to be able to prescribe the most compelling activations
  • Manage budget allocation and payment process for sponsorships and promotional support
  • Establish metrics capture for each activation and hold partners to deliver key performance indicators (KPI) for optimization. Create the corresponding recap materials for VIVE and Partners, including quarterly business reviews (QBR) to demonstrate contribution towards channel marketing goals.

    Experience Required


  • You’ve pitched internal and external partners on program concepts (marketing programs, advertising campaigns, events and experiential activations)
  • You’ve led business development discussions, working with partners to understand their marketing priorities, and building activations that align with their business goals
  • You’ve managed several concurrent programs, with deep measurement and optimization; informing your future program and product strategy
  • You’ve managed cross-team collaboration, holding internal and external teams to deadlines and deliverables
  • You have a track record of establishing goals and finding creative, value-add ways to achieve them
  • You have strong listening, communication and interpersonal skills, and are great at developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships


    Qualifications


  • 4+ years of experience in relevant roles, i.e. event management, media/advertising agencies, business development.
  • Degree This role will be based in the VIVE Seattle office, 30% travel.
