The primary missions of the Hertz Brand, Marketing Partnerships Manager:


  • Establish partnership strategy, clarifying their role in the portfolio of marketing tactics
  • Identify business needs where partnerships/sponsorships could form part of the solution across entire landscape of the company
  • Evaluate all potential partnerships/sponsorships, ensuring they are the correct ones to deliver fully against the Hertz brand needs
  • Define Hertz standards for potential partners – what we want and how we work together
  • Activate sponsorships with hands-on management of each one, acting as advocate to push internal utilization and external take up.
  • Measure and report the results in collaborate with Hertz Analytics Team, ensuring best practices are industrialized and issues addressed quickly.
  • Drive revenue for the Hertz brand by delivering programs across all key partners, for example, OEMs, AAA, United and Marriot.
  • Collaborate with the broader enterprise to ensure optimal feedback, participation and understanding of current and future partnerships/sponsorships and ensure ongoing success


    Required Skills

    Educational Background:

    Undergraduate and master’s degree preferred in marketing, business management, economics, finance, mathematics, or related / relevant field required


    Professional Experience:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience within retail, travel, hospitality with a focus on product design. Other industries acceptable if able to demonstrate relevant correlation

  • Proven track record of ability to solve complex business problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work in, across, and with large teams
  • Demonstrated project management experience for a broad range of topics and scope, including experience in large scale project management
  • Established track-record of influencing stakeholders from other functional areas with limited formal authority
  • Strong background in strategic problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfort communicating across all levels within the organization
  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite product knowledge (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Proven verbal and written communication
  • Positive attitude
