As the Director of Sponsorship at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex you will be responsible for building and assist leading all phases of the sponsorship/Partnership program. Assist in developing and maintaining a plan for the sponsor programs in order to meet or exceed the overall business objectives. Responsible for sponsor prospecting, proposal customization and presentation, contacts and revision, and sponsor follow up and support. Sponsorship agreements Solicit sponsorship/ partnerships for exhibitions, education programs, collections, special projects.
Develop and implement a sponsorship plan and budget
Responsible for developing Business case and budget for sponsor projects.
Develop and implement a plan for Trade shows and other events to assist in achieving business objectives
Develop maintain and implement sponsorship program guidelines to increase sponsorship recruitment.
Manage all sponsorship activities
Responsible for sponsor prospecting, proposal customization and presentations, contract revisions and serving, sponsor follow up and support, representing the company at industry functions
Identify emerging business leadership and industry trends with a special emphasis on developing high value-exchange alliances.
To succeed in the role candidates will have:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communication or Business preferred
Five years experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills and strict attention to detail is imperative. Must be able to use good judgment and work independently in a multi-task position
