The Manager of Team/Venue Sponsorship Activation will be responsible for the support and execution of certain sports marketing activation programs for our NFL partner teams and other marquee partners in MLB, NBA, et al. You will provide support to multiple Strategist positions within the Activation and Experiential team including day-to-day team/venue relationship management, program development and execution, program measurement, budget and presentation support, onsite management, agency oversight. This role will interact with internal and external partners in the creation and execution of unique and meaningful engagements at all activations. You will be responsible for the receipt, review and evaluation of external proposals.


Partner Marketing / Sponsorship Activation


  • Interact directly with key external NFL team, MLB, NBA and stadium/arena partners as needed to execute programs.
  • Manage and execute assigned activation programs independently.
  • Provide oversight of multiple agency partners supporting experiential/activation for assigned programs.
  • Assist with agency briefing and presentations to senior management.
  • Review agreements, make recommendations and provide contract negotiation support.
  • Lead contractual review and internal agreement review/signature process.
  • Analyze customer and fan data and insights for use in activation program development.
  • Provide direction and execute on brand guidelines for all creative and other executions related to our partnerships.
  • Research and provide analysis of competitive trends and analysis including data gathering, report creation.
  • Manage creative and messaging processes including briefing, creative development and review, agency oversight, print, radio and social assets and deadlines. Lead development of collateral and materials used in experiential/activation locations.
  • Support technology integration with team partners including interaction with internal product team and third party vendors as appropriate.
  • Analyze and review sponsorship proposals and manage any response or follow up to submitters.
  • Communicate and partner with key internal stakeholders to provide strategic direction, understand local objectives and business needs. Work with local market teams for marketing extensions into local retail stores or other marketing campaigns.


    Required Skills

    You’ll need to have:


  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience. Even better if you have:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
  • Related experience in marketing or related communications field.
  • Understanding of wireless industry.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work well in team environment and autonomously with a strong attention to detail in a fast changing environment.
  • Ability to complete important time sensitive tasks, adapt quickly to last minute changes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interest and knowledge in the technology industry.
  • Agency management skills.
  • Can-do attitude, high energy and good sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter.
  • Budget planning and maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 25% of the time) including willingness to potentially work on holidays or weekends during sports events.
