This role will allow candidates to interface with internal clients, collaborate in a team setting, strategize/plan sponsorship activations and manage external agencies. Candidates should also have strong knowledge and experience in leading and activating sports and entertainment based sponsorships. Successful candidates will have experience in leading social and digital marketing campaigns in support of sponsorship activations.
The Director will need to balance the fast-paced day-to-day management of the function, while developing new and innovative sponsorship activations that meet business needs. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Director will report to the Vice President of Brand Sponsorships & Experiential Marketing within the Brand Department.
Responsibilities:
Direct management and oversight of national and regional sponsorship teams (approximately 3 direct reports)
Develop the strategy and objectives for both national and regional sponsorship properties
Lead the execution and activation of new and existing national and regional sponsorship properties
Understand individual line of business needs in order to build sponsorship activations that maximize return on investment and sponsorship key performance objectives
Lead the negotiate and valuation of new sponsorships and the renewal of existing sponsorship properties
Lead cross-functional teams (internal and external) through the development and execution of sponsorship activations. Cross-functional teams and agencies include event marketing, public relations, media, social, etc.
Communicate key metrics and opportunities through written reports, presentations and stakeholder status meetings for both existing and new sponsorship properties

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 10 years' experience in sponsorships, strategy development or experiential marketing
At least 10 years' experience managing people or teams
At least 10 years' experience in marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
15 years’ experience in Strategy, experiential, hospitality or sponsorships
15 years’ experience across marketing
Sponsorship consulting or agency experience
