This person will be responsible for ideating, designing, planning, and executing experiential and event activations that extend our customer relationship offline, and bring the Dolls Kill brand to life IRL across our retail store and other locations and events that are meaningful to our customer.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute experiential marketing strategies to build brand awareness, foster community and increase customer engagement
  • Own process end-to-end from initial concepting to event production to measuring results
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Retail teams to plan and execute offline marketing initiatives that support store or site goals
  • Determine the most impactful events and event locations; leverage our own spaces (stores) along with locations and events meaningful to our customer (for example music festivals, campuses, etc).
  • Research potential partners, events, venues, vendors, etc. and negotiate contracts.
  • Partner with PR team to reinforce the Dolls Kill brand to maximize event exposure
  • Recruit street teams and/or brand ambassadors to supplement local activation activities, on campuses and in key cities
  • Own event preparation, on-site support, production logistics, budget management, recaps, status reports, contracts and overall event managementWork with the marketing and creative team to garner visibility for key events, and on-brand design and delivery (collateral materials, invitations, signage, giveaways etc..)
  • Collaborate with social and influencer teams to activate exciting brand advocates for events; use events to nurture relationships with influencers, leverage influencers reach to maximize reach of events


    Required Skills

  • 3+ years proven experiential production across various industries, festivals a plusProject management experience including scoping, budgeting, planning, hiring
  • Experience negotiating fees and contracts with vendors and freelancersAgency management experience and a rolodex of best-in-class production partners a plus
  • A creative eye and attention to detail, as you are expected to push for the best possible work at all times
  • Experience working with remote or localized teamsStart-up experience ideal, but not necessaryAbility to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage work and problem solve autonomously
