To best support Harley- Davidson’s goal to grow the sport of motorcycling in the US and abroad, we are looking to innovate the Motor Company’s approach in Experiential Marketing.

Experiential Marketing is a highly visible part of our marketing efforts, and we are introducing a new “community-based” approach to how we engage our current and future customers. We understand that shared experiences are a key driver for developing community, and that communities remain vital when there are opportunities for members to connect through shared experiences.

The Experiential Marketing Manager – New to Sport is a new role at Harley-Davidson and will manage the team that engages the various communities that make up the New to Sport audience. Simply put, you will develop marketing strategies that create an emotional connection with consumers through Experiential Marketing and New to Sport community engagement.

Required Skills

This opportunity will sound exciting for the right marketing professional because you will shape the future of community and experiential marketing at Harley-Davidson. This will require you to learn about the market, our brand, and what our customers think is important, so you can develop strategies to engage potential new customers in ways that Harley-Davidson may have never tried before.

  • As we reshape our Experiential Marketing efforts to focus exclusively on meeting the consumer where they are in their riding journey, we will need new and creative ideas that facilitate and support motorcycling communities, integrating various digital marketing channels to increase impact, and introducing new audiences to the brand.
  • The efforts you and your team will develop for the New to Sport audience will integrate the following elements:
  • Developing strategies that provide relevant experiences to those community members
  • Providing the community with the opportunity to interact with each other and the Motor Company to keep the community engaged
  • Using the analytics generated from your team’s efforts to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations to keep your team’s efforts relevant for each community you work with
