This position is responsible for leading entertainment partnerships within the sponsorships marketing organization. The Manager will manage all entertainment partnerships, experiential marketing programs and work with internal cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns that deliver against key business objectives. This position reports to the Associate Director of Sponsorships.


  • Lead entertainment partnerships and program execution including partner procurement, contract negotiations and campaign activation.
  • Ensure best-in-class sponsorships performance by tracking partnership assets to ensure deliverables are being executed and full partnership value is achieved.
  • Lead agency relationship for entertainment programs and help direct program activation elements (onsite branding, brand ambassadors, tickets, access, etc.)
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams and Integrated Marketing to communicate and share partner assets for creative use in marketing campaigns and Verizon Up loyalty program.
  • Partner with the agency to track measurement of entertainment program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Regularly communicate with local market teams, track local entertainment programs, initiatives and needs.
  • Manage incoming invoices and track overall entertainment budget.
  • Maintain overview presentations of entertainment programs and partners.
  • Develop clear, concise executive reports for leadership use.
  • Manage incoming internal and external asks for partner assets and ad hoc entertainment requests.
  • Monitor external entertainment marketing trends and bring best practices to our programs.


    Required Skills

    You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.


    Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of successful sponsorship experience.
  • Entertainment marketing experience; specifically within music sponsorship at other brands.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, organizational leadership, and agency management.
  • Solid understanding of entertainment industries, marketing communications and new and emerging media platforms (i.e. mobile, digital, social media).
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, can-do culture.
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Telecom or Technology companies.
