DraftKings’ Events & Experiences team is seeking a Director of Events & Experiences to take a key role in executing our events & experiences strategy. The Director will report to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, Events & Experiences and will join a dedicated team. Your main responsibility is the end-to-end execution of the events. The right person for this role understands our events strategy and executes a unique vision for the department.


WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A DIRECTOR, EVENTS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Research and provide options for events, including markets, locations, hotels, etc.
  • Maintain established event budgets, oversee vendor payments, oversee recap report processes for all events, and assist with contracts as needed.
  • Work and communicate with outside production team on all events.
  • Execute branding strategy for each event, including sponsors and sponsor activations.
  • Oversee event timelines and end-to-end planning with manager and associate.


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10 years of strong event management experience, ideally in the sports or entertainment industry.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Excels in a fast-paced, results driven, and self-starting environment.
  • Ability to take direction from the top while overseeing a team to achieve a common goal.
