We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to serve as our Global Influencer & Experiential Marketing Lead responsible for advancing the “More Together” influencer marketing programs globally in partnership with our country marketing leads. In this role, you will support and influence the development, management, and execution of global “More Together” marketing initiatives that connect consumers to the Facebook App suite of products including Groups, Marketplace, and Watch.


Our ideal candidate will have deep expertise on how to leverage influencers, events and earned media to drive campaign objectives. You will understand how these three levers work together to complement a broader marketing campaign and will have a strong point of view on how to measure and demonstrate ROI through these activities. You will be a skilled people leader who can develop and manage a talented group of direct reports and have also mastered cross-functional team leadership. You effectively build partnerships with wide groups of stakeholders including teams account for leading corporate partnerships and PR/Communications. You are comfortable in ambiguity and changing environments. Most importantly, you care deeply about establishing Facebook as place for connections and community at scale.


This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park or San Francisco.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop a talented team of direct reports
  • Develop and manage global influencer marketing and experiential strategy in partnership with external agencies and other internal partners (Partnerships, PR/Communications, Events)
  • Build relationships with cross-functional leaders and ensure regular communication and alignment on influencer marketing and experiential efforts
  • Partner with Country Leads to ensure global strategy is deployed consistently around the world
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing Analytics, Marketing Research, Communications/PR, Product Marketing, Media Planning, and Creative to deliver world-class global marketing programs
  • Manage and lead multiple complex external agency relationships
  • Flex between strategic and execution responsibilities
  • Travel 25-50% of time, with higher levels during creative development periods


    Required Skills

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years experience leading influencer marketing and/or experiential marketing
  • 5+ years experience leading, developing, and managing teams
  • International marketing experience
  • Experience working in environments that require influencing cross-functional teams (often with different goals or incentives)
  • Experience managing global agency relationships
