Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of the mass sports industries, audiences, and league/team/athlete landscapes
Given current priorities, an understanding of the sport of Basketball is essential, including its professional and amateur league operations, developmental programs, etc.
Champion a long-term and scalable business strategy for Red Bull Mass programs that incorporates events, product activations, and team & athlete programs
Support long-term execution of strategic partnerships with key 3rd-party events, leagues and teams to drive Brand relevance and support product sales
Partner with stakeholders across Red Bull brand, media and marketing divisions to integrate Mass program elements within their business plans and operations
Develop tools to support and enable the regional teams initiatives.
Manage and execute program roadmap, business plans and processes, project and resource plans, event and editorial calendars, status updates and budgets
Clearly articulate business plans and objectives to executives, internal stakeholders and business partners
Support the design, deployment and governance of activation guidelines, templates and toolkits for use by regional and Global teams to activate Mass program elements within local markets
Alongside of the Director, Sports Marketing - Mass/Action, partner with the Sr Director of Athlete Marketing to execute a long-term team and athlete strategy focused on the identification, acquisition, sponsorship, management and development of top talent
Partner with Red Bull High Performance to implement innovative performance improvement tools to ensure athletes and teams perform at their best
Required Skills
Minimum 4 years Sports Marketing/ Management experience; direct Basketball or other mass
sports experience preferred
Excellent strategic thinking skills
Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities
Strong planning and project management competencies
Strong leadership skills and ability to cultivate a team-working environment
Creative mind
Self-motivated with high standards of quality work performance
University – Bachelor’s Degree
Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
