Are you a creative, ambitious and relationship oriented sales professional? If you have a knack for introducing new and unique solutions, then our Account Executive, Viacom Live Events role might be perfect for you! As part of our Experiential Sales and Marketing team you will be responsible for business development and revenue generation across the Viacom Live Event portfolio; which is includes our festivals, tours and tent pole events.

 

To join the team and make an immediate impact, you would have a track record of success in shepherding experiential and cross-platform advertising sales and marketing partnerships. You would be strategic and innovative in your approach to generating business, have strong agency/client contacts at all levels, and have excellent interpersonal, presentation and marketing skills.  This position can be based in NY or LA.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and advance positive relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels on the client and agency side and internally
  • Build sales presentations that creatively and distinctly differentiate and communicate unique assets to targeted prospects
  • Position the Viacom Live Events portfolio to the marketplace, creating customized client solutions that achieve client goals and invite repeat engagement
  • Structure, price, successfully negotiate and close live event and multiplatform deals


Required Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+years of sales experience in the Live Events and Experiential space
  • Ability to travel, including to clients and events nationally

Additional Qualifications

  • Able to strategically steward deals from pitch to execution
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities supported by strong oral and written communication skills
  • Be a high energy great teammate who is a big thinker with a go-getter personality
  • Able to thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
